ST. MARY'S WRESTLING COACHES

CHRIS COLONA, HEAD COACH

Graduated from Mehlville High School in 1980 where he competed in gymnastics and wrestling.  Wrestled in college at SEMO, Meramec Community College and University of Missouri-Rolla where he won the MIAA conference championship and multiple All-Conference Academic awards. Coached and led Rockwood-Lindbergh (RL) youth wrestling program for many years. A retired engineering manager Chris still works part time for Particle Measuring Systems out of Boulder, Colorado. He is married to Lori and has three adult sons and two grandsons.

MAX HUNKINS, ASSISTANT HEAD COACH

Max graduated from St. Mary's in 2015 where he competed in soccer and wrestling. He was a state qualifier for the Dragons as well as being selected to the All St. Mary's team as the best 120 lb wrestler in program history. Max is working at Scott Air Force Base as a Network Impact Technician as well as is active in the Navy Reserves. Max coached last season as a volunteer assistant for the Dragons.

JAMAL RICHIE, VOUNTEER ASSISTANT

Jamal graduated from Parkway Central High School where he played football and wrestled. He was a state qualifier for the Colts. Jamal works for the U.S. Postal Service. He is dedicated to improving our youth through sports. Jamal coached St. Mary's football this year as well as volunteering his time to assist with the wrestling program. He is a passionate competitor.
